Accounting Manager

Overall Responsibilities:

Manage/perform and oversee daily accounting operations with the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality including:

  • Month and End-Year Process
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Journal Entries
  • Payroll Taxes
  • Participate in Annual Budget Preparation
  • Account Reconciliation
  • Capital Assets Reconciliation
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
  • Responsible for cash management, company credit cards, petty cash, and bank deposits
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual tax return
  • Meet financial accounting objectives
  • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
  • Maintain an organized accounting filing system
  • Assists with training needs among accounting staff
  • Other projects and duties as needed


  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; equivalent work experience will be considered
  • 3+ years managerial experience is beneficial
  • Advanced computer skills with MS Office, accounting software, and databases
  • Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager or Accounting Supervisor
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Great communicator and a team player
  • Works well independently and in a team environment

  • Base salary starting at: $80,000 dependent on experience
