Toy Vault Teams Up with Dork Tower Creator John Kovalic to Produce Collectible Pin Set

Toy Vault has teamed up with award-winning cartoonist, illustrator, and writer John Kovalic to produce a special, limited edition collectible pin set scheduled for release this summer, sure to be cherished by pin collectors and fans of all things creepy and cute.

From the mind of the popular Dork Tower creator comes My Little Cthulhu Enamel Pins - a cartoonish reimagining of creatures from H.P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos. These adorable, high-quality pins will be available for purchase as a complete boxed set collection including all four creatures, or individually packaged.

“Making Evil cute is basically my brand,” said Kovalic. “But it’s been a thrill to see Toy Vault bring this pin set to life … or at least to That Which is Not Dead. Their commitment to quality was obvious from the outset.”

Each of the pins features artwork by Kovalic who, in addition to Dork Tower, is best known as the illustrator for games like the Munchkin card game, Kobolds Ate My Baby!, and the best-selling family party game Apples to Apples.

The pins in the “My Little Cthulhu'' set feature famous creatures from Lovecraft’s stories of cosmic horror, including Azathoth, a Mi-Go, a Deep One, and the leader of the Old Ones himself, Cthulhu. Each is done in Kovalic’s trademark whimsical, colorful style that belies the reality-shattering power the creatures traditionally possess. Display them proudly and show that you don’t fear the eldritch horrors that lurk in the dark recesses of the cosmos … so long as they are this adorable!
